BRANDI + RONNEY

Brandi and Ronney’s family radiates love, laughter, and so much personality. Together with their four entertaining and unique children, they’ve created a home full of humor, connection, and joy.

Raegan is hilarious — beautiful, smart, observant, and witty. Brendan is a little more reserved, but he has a quiet charm, and the way he looked at his mom showed so much love. Jeramy shares that quiet charm too, but in a thoughtful, reflective way. I watched him take in the animals and the sky with such admiration, a beautiful gift in a child. Liliana, the youngest, is strong-willed and full of opinions, never afraid to make her feelings known. That spark will surely be her superpower as she grows. She adores her dad and her bunnies, and still carries that sweet childlike innocence within her.

Photographing them was meaningful to me, since Brandi was one of my softball coaches in high school. Seeing her now, in such a happy and beautiful season of life, was such a gift. Her smile shines brighter than ever, and it’s clear how deeply she is loved and seen by Ronney. Their story is even sweeter knowing they dated in high school - I even got to see the prom pictures! After years of life’s twists and turns, they’ve found their way back to each other. Sometimes things really do happen in their own time, so we can become exactly who we’re meant to be for moments like this.

We captured these memories on Ronney’s mom’s property, which was absolutely stunning. Sessions on family land always feel unmatched. There’s something so personal and grounding about them. Horses wandered into the background (and sometimes stole the spotlight), the barn stood at the center of everything, bunnies and kitties made appearances, and the sun wrapped everything in warmth. It was one of those evenings that felt like pure evidence of life and love. A moment in time that held childhood, family, and togetherness.
